Each cope is a hand-embroidered masterpiece of 3.6 x 1.8 m on handwoven and naturaly colord cotton fabrics. Theses embroidered paintings are telling stories of transformation and rebirth. The designs depict self invented mythical animals and humans, often fighting each other, creating new rituals and experiencing mysterious past and future events. Elements from European iconography are beautifully mixed with tribal looking designs and an outsider art's attitude.
